Personal Info

Apostle Rod McTaggart is the senior pastor of Bread of Life Team Ministries, a Christ-centered expression of the church located in Saginaw, Michigan. His wife Ronni (Veronica) also serves as a pastor at Bread of Life. They have been married since 1969 and have three grown children, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Apostle Rod is a graduate of Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. He is currently working on a doctorate in theology. He is a past graduate of Eagle Christian College’s widely acclaimed “School of the Prophet” and “School of the Apostle”. He moves and operates strongly in a prophetic-teaching mantle with a Barnabas (Son of Encouragement) anointing.

His Ministry

Apostle Rod has extensive background in the business arena as a former owner and operator of three small businesses. His most recent was a consulting business helping churches with their building construction projects called Brightside Church Consultants.

Rod is the founder and president of Bread of Life Team Ministries, whose purpose is to provide an apostolic vehicle for the sending out of five-fold ministry teams to the nations. He is also founder & president of Eagle Christian College Saginaw (ECCS), which was formerly an affiliate of Eagle –Lion Institute founded by Dr. John Watson of Marion, Ohio. In establishing ECCS in September 2004, a broadened spectrum of five-fold ministry equipping was made available to the Body of Christ to the region and at large.

Apostle Rod formerly served both as an apostolic regional coordinator for the Michigan Apostolic Alliance under the direction of Apostle Barbara Yoder in Ann Arbor, Michigan and is currently an advisor for the Saginaw Chapter of Aglow International. He was ordained through the Network of Christian Churches (NCC) under the leadership of Apostle John & Pat Watson and Prophets Jim & Judy Stevens (based out of Marion, Ohio). He is now part of a newly formed network called APT (Apostolic/Prophetic Team Network) under Dr. Jim and Judy Stevens. He is also ordained under Apostle Barbara Yoder and is part of the Breakthrough Apostolic Ministries Network (BAMN)

Community Involvement

Apostle Rod is one of 12 founding board members of a group of 40 plus pastors called “The Church of Saginaw” and currently serves as administrative vice president. He has been a host of two Christian TV programs “Michigan Alive” and “Ask The Pastor” on the TCT television network and is also part of the “live” panel of pastors answering biblical questions called in from a local, national and international viewing audiences. He is also part of a pastoral team called “C.A.U.T.I.O.N” which is a state pilot program whose purpose is to work with the Michigan State Police during times of crisis as needed. Rod has also sat on multiple church boards as a board member and advisor. He speaks and moves prophetically at conferences and assists in various ordinations and new church starts. He is the lead facilitator of the “Michigan Prophetic Conference” established in 1995.

He has also authored two books titled “Read The Red” Volume 1 and Volume 2 which is the beginning of a series of books which are biblically based commentaries on the Words of Christ.
